Paintings I did for the GAWL charity art auction

I was reluctant to do this painting for several years but I like how it turned out.

This is one of the largest paintings I've done and it's also one of my favorites, and sence it's never sold I must be alone in that opinion.

  1. Hello Dane this is my second day looking at your work. I was introduced to you by Carlton Mackey. I know you probably get this all the time but I think your work is amazing like off the charts amazing. My favorite pic comes from your sketch book it's the man who has a mustache and it is spelled mustache, that's so creative. I would have never thought of that, guess that's why I am not a painter. Lol. I also loved the painting of the little girl, it makes you wanna meet the little girl if she existed and help her. Keep up the Great work man. Your new friend Joshua

  2. Thanks Joshua. I hadn't read this when I decided to use that as my profile pict. I found that picture of the little girl in a 1970's National Geographic. I didn't paint it for years because I knew I didn't want to change it much, and I wanted to give the photographer the respect by not claiming his image. But I'm not claiming it, it was such a great photo I just wanted to paint it.
Keep it up with the music and I'll try and do the same with the painting
